Compulsory leave and reduced leadership salaries in Formula 1

A spokesperson for the Formula 1 World Championship for Cars said that it granted about half of its employees compulsory leave until the end of May due to the Corona epidemic, while President Chase Carey and a number of leaders agreed to reduce their salaries.

Sources said that most of the employees who took temporary leave work related to racing days.
Formula 1 employs more than 500 people.
The Formula 1 season has not yet started after the cancellation of the inaugural race in Australia on March 15 and the famous Monaco race scheduled for May.

The spokesman said that the company's leaders agreed to reduce its salaries voluntarily by 20 percent, but it would continue to work, while the American Curry agreed to a further reduction.
