The leaders of the Premier League teams are getting closer to creating a fund to tackle Corona



    English Premier League club leaders are close to reaching agreement on setting up a charity fund to help health organizations in England tackle the emerging Corona virus (Covid-19), The Guardian reported on Wednesday.


The newspaper reported that the team leaders spent the last days in talks on reaching a decision regarding the formation of a charitable fund to confront Corona.
The newspaper added that one of the discussions centered on how to present the contribution of each club leader, bearing in mind that some club leaders receive higher salaries than others, and ensuring that those who cannot contribute with equal amount with them will not appear as the least contributing.


The newspaper added that the proposed solution to this, was the arrival of donations for each club leader separately to the main fund in an unknown manner, to reach later to the local bodies contributing to facing Corona.



The London captain, Jordan Henderson, Manchester United captain Harry Maguire, Watford captain Troy Denny and Westham United captain Mark Noble, will manage the fund, which is to help health agencies tackle the Corona virus.


The English league competition has been stalled since the beginning of March, due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus.
